Intense! Edge of your seat intense! In episode 612, ‘Not Tomorrow Yet’, the world expanded and blew up! We are now in the next world, and it is going to be a non-stop bumpy ride!
Now that our group has made the deal to trade with Hilltop, Rick and the residents of Alexandria have a church meeting. Rick explains that Negan and his Saviors, have to be taken out, literally. He has devised a plan of attack and asks for input. Anyone who has other ideas must speak up now. And of course, there is Morgan. He doesn’t want to kill, I understand that, but Rick is right on this one. It is kill or be killed now. They have to do this for Alexandria to survive!

Someone is in a mood, in this episode. We see Carol baking cookies, lots of cookies! Using what she can find to throw together, Carol baked dozens of cookies, and handed them out among the people. She stops at Tobin’s house. Bantering in a flirty way, she tells him to eat the cookie. He is amazed that she can do what she does. Is there some feeling here? We find out later.

Carol is visiting Sam’s grave. I always knew that she had a special feeling for him. I know she feels guilty or bad for his death. She leaves a cookie on his grave. She is human. Morgan appears, and they talk about the secret they are hiding in regards to the Wolf that he hid. She tells him to forget it and leave it alone. He walks away. There is something that is not quite finished here between them.

Something happens with Abe, that I knew was going to come sooner or later. He packs all of his things, and tells Rosita he is leaving. He tells her that at one time, he thought she was the only woman left in the world, now he knows she is not. He breaks her heart. She truly thought there was a love thing going on, but no. Eugene witnesses the break up. Will something come around with Rosita here? Will this make Rosita more reckless?
Tara and Denise have a scene. Tara tells Denise that she loves her. Tara waits for a reply, but Denise says, “I’ll tell you when you get back”. Tara is scheduled to leave for 2 weeks with Heath on a run after the fight. Can she wait that long to hear it? I think this is foreshadowing Tara’s death.
Carol can’t sleep. Too many things are running through her mind on the eve of the fight plan. She gets up and starts making a list. Is this a kill list? Does this represent the live people she has killed? What is going through her mind. In past episodes, it appears that she is regretting and is troubled by what she has had to do. Is she swinging around to Morgan’s way of thinking, or is this foreshadowing? She takes a walk and ends up at Tobin’s house. he can’t sleep either and it because of his fondness for Carol. They have a nice chat. He respects her and obviously likes her. They kiss!

The group gears up for the fight. They will attack in the wee hours of the morning. They need a head to represent Gregory’s death. Heath and Glenn take down a few walkers, until they can find a good match. Maggie and Carol are patrolling the outskirts of Negan’s area. Carol is convinced that Maggie should not be here at all. She voices her concern to Rick. He agrees to let Carol stay with Maggie.
Andy from Hilltop approaches the Savior guards, with the supposed head of Gregory, while the rest of the group hides for the attack. They fall for it! They bring out the hostage Hilltop guy and return him to Andy.

Our group shows up and the killing begins! The guards are quickly put down, and the race starts. Our group invades the place like a bunch of killer bees! There is silent killing all around as throats are cut, and heads are stabbed. Glenn and Heath both have qualms about killing living people, but they know that it has to be done. Glenn is almost sickened by taking the life of a sleeping Savior. This is his first live kill. What will this mean for him? When he sees that Heath is struggling, he takes out another sleeping man. He look up and see that Heath is almost crying. Then he sees the wall! It is adorned with Polaroid pictures of dozens of people with their heads bashed in! Is this the foreshadowing of Glenn’s fated meeting with Negan’s bat, Lucille?
Even Father Gabriel steps up and kills a rouge member of the Saviors when he tries to escape! Although, he quoted scripture the whole scene! I think he is truly one of the group now. When our group is finally done with the killing, daylight breaks and they go outside. A motorcycle comes roaring out of nowhere! Daryl screams,”Where’d you get that bike?” and the group is on the guy in a split second. Before our group can kill the guy, a voice comes over the walkie. “We have a Carol and a Maggie here!”
Oh sh*t! All I can say is I can’t wait for next week!
