Preview: New York and the Week of Very Much Outlander

I love Outlander – truly I do. I preach it, I have all the stuff, I travel for it – but I’m nervous. In less than 12 hours, I leave for 6 Outlander days in New York. I know some of you are thinking “HEAVEN!!!” And really, I am too – but is there a thing as too much Outlander? I guess we’ll find out!

I wanted to give you a preview of my Week of Very Much Outlander (WVMO). My partner in crime, Koko, and I will engage in as many Heugh-nanigans as two girls and our limited budget can manage. Where possible, I’ll Periscope some of the activities, so be sure to follow me there – my account is @ErinConrad2. I’ll likely be tweeting – but only on @OutlanderTIBS, so grab that one too! Some things may show up on our Outlander Facebook page, so if you haven’t “liked” that, try it! And, phew, I’ll try to post something here at least a couple of days.

I’ll have the chance to attend many of the activities – the Season 2 premiere; I’m marching in the Tartan Day Parade; I’ll be on the photo line when Sam and Cait introduce the costume windows at Saks – as well as several others. I’ll be recapping the parade with photos from several spectators and other marchers, so watch for that! What do you want to see?

And if you can help me out, I’d really appreciate it. Last season, I tried to write my reviews with the non-book-reader in mind, trying not to give too much away that book series lovers already knew. But I don’t have any idea if I have any non-book readers among my audience. Could you take the poll below and let me know? That would help me frame my reviews a little better.

Watch for my first review of the new season next Saturday night!
