Lots of official Outlander merchandise came out during this past year, but one big category was ignored – Christmas tree ornaments (and for those of you who don’t have a Christmas tree, cute stuff to hang up anywhere). So, once again, fan creativity has come and filled the void. If you’re looking for some great ornaments, here are some suggestions for you:
Heather Crane
Heather Crane has created some beautiful quilted fabric ornaments in a range of colors and patterns. “I have quite a lot of vintage fabrics that I use for the Christmas ornaments because I love the designs on them,” she said. “All of Terry’s beautiful creations on the show are my inspiration when making the ornaments. I include 2 different Outlander charms on each ornament that remind me of the books. I also include a different tartan on each ornament in keeping with the Scottish theme. I coordinate the ribbons on top and around the ornaments as i studied art in Glasgow, Scotland, where I was raised.”

Inspired by Life1
Custom made beaded ornament. The red ornament shown has double sided glass pendant with photo of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) on their wedding on one side and their wedding vows on the other side. This artist also makes other Outlander-related items. Ornaments are about $17.

The Red-Haired Lass
Nice selection of glass globe ornaments, with miniature Craigh na Dun sets or ribbon filled; glass hearts with various images. Prices start at $7.50. She also has a lot of other beautiful Outlander-inspired items to look through.

Nina Wozniak
I’ve featured Nina here before, but her items are beautiful, and she has some terrific ornaments! Her Czech glass ornaments are wonderful. Items are around $19.

Ophelialilly
Strictly speaking, these aren’t ornaments, but you could easily hang them from a pretty cord or ribbon and make a fun tabletop tree. These hand-drawn “pocket people” are different from the photographic cuties we all have, but they’re adorable! Each is $3.
