This past weekend, I and hundreds of my new best friends (and many old best friends!) attended Thru The Stones, an Outlander fan conference, held in Bettendorf, Iowa. This fantastic event had classes, a HUGE trivia contest, attendees dressed in Outlander costumes, food, stuff for sale – and Grant O’Rourke and Terry Dresbach! Terry and Grant sat down with a few bloggers in attendance and chatted – mostly chatted, answered some questions…
Here are two short videos from that press conference. The first piece is just Terry and Grant chatting – it was so much fun to see how much they liked each other! The second video is of just the questions I was able to ask them (I’m sure the other bloggers – including Beth Wesson and Connie Verzak – will report on other aspects of the press conference).
Since we’re all friends here, I’ll confess to a minor issue – for the second half of the second video, my camera decided not to record audio with the video, so you’ve got audio from my phone recording app, and several still pictures, from my great friend and frequent photographer Samantha Kraupner!

And get your trivia brains in order – Deb Ford and her sisters Gin Wray and Sandy Belshause, the conference’s organizers, put on a killer obscuria (can’t even call it trivia – some of it was MUCH harder than that!) contest on Friday night, and I’ll have a little contest of my own (if you attended TTS, please be kind and look but don’t enter) on my Facebook page – Outlander Three If By Space – using some of those questions. So go ahead and “like” the page and wait for the announcement!
