The Flash 3×12 Preview – “Untouchable”

Episode Summary: Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) becomes his next target but it’s Iris (Candice Patton) who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and begins to elevate the newer speedster’s training to another level. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira (312). Original airdate 2/7/201.

We got a new “villain of the week” who can rapidly decompose people! That’s creepy no matter how you think about it. Clive Yorkin is after Joe (I assume because Joe is a cop and/or the cop that put him away) put he ends up “infecting” Iris instead. She’ll soon by at death’s door, and not because of Savitar. Five bucks says that Team Flash will have some kind of discussion about changing the timeline and Iris is going to die, only differently because of said changes to timeline, etc, etc.

Meanwhile, everything’s coming up Kid Flash and Barry is taking Wally’s training to a new level. I assume that means he’ll get pushed beyond his comfort zone, and he may even push back at Barry because of it. Barry as a mentor is not something we often see, so it’ll be interesting to see how he handles being the senior speedster.

What else do you think will happen in the episode? Worried about Iris or completely unconcerned about anything but the finale? Share your thoughts in the comments!
