Yuri!!! On Ice
Fans of the series were excited to hear this weekend that there would be an Original Anime Movie for the series. This announcement came during an event at Chiba’s Maihama Amphitheater for a Yuri!!! Spring SimulDub Anime News – Cast Announcements
Funimation began posting its cast line up for the spring anime season. Adding to the Attack On Titan Season 2 list from last week and the My Hero Academia List, we have a list for: Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor, Love Tyrant, KADO: The Right Answer and Seven Mortal Sins. Anime Access Expands with Animate
The worlds largest anime retailer has opened its doors to international customers after 30 years of being nearly exclusive to Japan. This anime news is music to the ears of anime fans as Brent Mercer over at Viewster says:
“The online retail store carries DVDs, Blu-Rays, and official merchandise. They also carry exclusive items available only through Animate stores. Fans now have access to official anime merchandise in addition to originals – both of which that have been difficult for westerners to find with confirmation of authenticity.”
Crunchyroll Partnership with Funimation – New Titles
Fans of Funimation titles who want to see them on Crunchyroll got some great news this week with the addition of several big titles. Here is the list:
- The Devil Is A Part Timer
- Blood Blockade Battlefront
- Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate
- Chaos Dragon
- Unbreakable Machine Doll
These add to an already growing list of titles you can now stream on Crunchyroll. See a complete list of Funimation titles here. Be on the look out on Funimations site however for when these and Crunchyroll titles come up for home video release. Funimation, as part of their partnership with Crunchyroll, will be releasing a lot of their titles on home video!
