Blue Exorcist Season 2 Dub & Season 1 Box Set

By: Robert Prentice May 29, 2017
Anime News Aniplex Of America, Blue Exorcist

The hugely popular series Blue Exorcist Season 2 just finished its Kyoto Saga (Impure King) Arc. Now news has come out that Hulu will have exclusive rights to streaming the Blue Exorcist Season 2 english dub. A specific date for its arrival on Hulu has not been announced yet. The english dub originally premiered at Sakura Con back in April.

On the heels of that news, Aniplex Of America has also decided to re-release the entire first season in a single set. For those familiar with the pricing of collecting the set previously, it was very pricey, easily $150 per set. Now a single set will be coming out that will contain the entire 25 episodes plus the OVA in one set. The price is half what it was previously, coming in at $169.98 for the complete set which comes with extras detailed below. I will note however that unlike the previously released limited editions which had the soundtrack, and a booklet with character art, this new set will not have that.

If you haven’t already purchased the series on blu-ray now is the time. You can preorder your copy from Right Stuf Anime today. Check out the full details of the re-release below. The release date is set for June 27, 2017.
