Funimation just announced on their blog that they have snagged the license for the Tokyo Ghoul Live Action Movie. Check out the press release below and tell us your thoughts on the trailer for this live action adaptation.
Tokyo Ghoul is back and this time it’s more real than ever. We’re excited to announce that Funimation will have the license for the Tokyo Ghoul Live-Action movie and that it will be coming to theaters soon!
This will be a brand new Japanese live-action film based on the hit manga that inspired the anime coming to theaters in Japanese audio with English subtitles. See the all-star cast below:

The livestream will take place on Friday at 5:30 AM ET/2:30 AM PT—so be sure to be the first to get the news (and a special announcement) about the new movie.
