Syfy Cancels Dark Matter, Puts Hundreds Out of Work

Dark Matter 304 Preview: All the Time in the World

At the end of the last episode, “Welcome to the Revolution”, we learned that Three is going to be trapped in some kind of time loop. That made it sound like this episode was going to be very much a “Groundhog Day” scenario, but this preview shows it’s much, much more. It’s definitely about time travel, but it’s clear that Three isn’t the only one who’s having unwanted temporal discomfort. I wonder if there’s a pill for that condition?

Android is rocking an almost goth appearance with black hair, a black jumpsuit, a red eye, and a bit of hardware not unlike that worn by Star Trek: Voyager‘s Seven of Nine. To be honest, I like this look better than her usual lighter colored outfit. The lighter one always makes me think of upholstery from a car. Sure, it’s upholstery from a really nice car, but it’s still very automotive-looking.

That red eye is cool, but what is the significance of it being that color and what is the purpose of the hardware that’s apparently associated with it? I’m sure Five could answer those questions, and she’s in this clip, only not quite as you remember her. I’ll save the reveal of her condition for the video, but suffice it to say it’ll get a reaction out of you. Even more shocking is what she has to tell Android at “the end of time”.

Episode synopsis:

Journeying through time, Android lands at the “End of Time” and receives a portentous message from Five.
