Anticipation for “All the Time in the World”, Dark Matter’s take, and twist, on the time-tested time-loop tale took off this week. If you’ve seen the episode, you know the excitement was well-founded. I, myself, am still in a loop of involuntarily squeeing with delight while watching the episode over and over.
But let’s rewind to last Sunday and calmly work our way through the week like adults. Adults with poor self-control, drooling for anything that even smells like Dark Matter. In my defense, I never mentioned being a responsible adult. That reason Is two-fold: 1) I am not a liar. 2) I am not a responsible adult.
Now get ready to click on each day’s link because like Steven Tyler you don’t want to miss a thing. Seriously, you really don’t want to miss all the BTS goodness this week.
The potential sale of Joe’s home began with a wet and rainy open house; not exactly the best conditions. But that didn’t seem to stem the tide of interested buyers with some even returning for a second look. Here’s hoping everything works out for the best.
Now for you, my fellow Dark Matter devotees, Joe has shared a link to After Dark episode 3. It’s generously region UNlocked on Syfy Australia’s YouTube page. That means no matter where you live, you should be able to see it. Australia rocks! That’s not to be confused with Australian rocks, which I’m sure are perfectly adequate, but less fun to watch. They really don’t do much.
Finally, you get to meet Murray. Murray, as Joe has affectionately named him, is a security satellite. There are pictures of him in his early stages of development. Lucky for Murray, he seemed to skip over that awkward stage of zits and braces.
Looking forward to episode 304, “All the Time in the World”? If so, today’s entry will either soothe your anxiety or worsen it. There’s a pile of screenshots from the episode today, so if you want a glimpse just head over to the link.
Suddenly there’s competition in the Toronto house selling market, specifically in Joe’s neighborhood. Some people just across the street have theirs up for sale, too. “Some people” should stop copying their neighbors. We got a house to sell, here! While they may be selling their home, Akemi still has room in her heart for another dog. He’s a cute, old boy!
There are also links to a few articles about the show. One of them was written by someone whose work you may have (regrettably) read before. If you’re reading this, then you already know who. Hey, nobody forced you to read this! (Except you, Donald. I have dirt on you, so you better be reading.) Sorry you all had to see that, but Donald had it coming.
Get plenty of BTS scoop in today’s entry! There’s two videos, covering episodes 301 and 302 and lots of still images to ogle. It’s a lot of fun seeing how some of the scenes were created and shot.
In case you didn’t know, Joe and his writing partner, Paul Mullie, penned one of the best episodes of Stargate: SG1 ever. “Window of Opportunity” was also a time-loop episode that quickly became a fan favorite. “All the Time in the World” not only shares the loopy elements with its Stargate sibling, but has already become a favorite episode. If you aren’t on Twitter you missed an insane amount of activity, all of it positive from what I could see. That positivity toward the episode was well-deserved and I’m going to go watch it again right now!
This was the day fans pretty much exploded with delight as they watched “All the Time in the World”. I think everyone’s favorite moment was when Three and Android sang “Dominique” in its native French. While that was a very short segment, Joe offered up a longer clip at the link. You really need to see this!
After Friday’s hilarious and revealing time-loop episode, today was reviewzapalooza. Joe has shared multiple reviews and every single one of them is glowing. Go read a few, or all of them! While you’re there, check out another BTS video of Three and Android doing their best singing nun impressions.
