We’re just over a week away from The Mist rolling in, and Spike TV is continuing to introduce us to key community members in Bridgeville before that mysterious fog settles in. We first met Eve Copeland and now we get to see her other half, Kevin. Separated from his wife and daughter when The Mist comes, Kevin is determined to do whatever necessary to find his family. He is a retired journalist turned children’s author and nothing is more important to him than his family. The main moral compass for us, and a main character in the show, Kevin is a liberal, loyal and civilized individual.
Being a key character, I’m already scared for the choices Kevin will have to make along the way. He has poured his entire heart and soul into his wife and his daughter, to the point that without them he doesn’t know who he is. Kevin will continually be tested after The Mist comes rolling in, both physically and morally. Kevin will go to battle to ensure the safety of the two women who his life revolves around, regardless of what sacrifices he might have to make along the way.
The Mist premieres on June 22nd at 10pm on Spike TV for 10 psychologically thrilling episodes. What will happen to humanity when the mist comes through? An all star cast & crew paired with this fantastic Stephen King novella, you can (and should) expect intense and extraordinary things from this series.
