The Mist: Out There Trailer

Spike TV has released the final trailer for it’s upcoming thriller, The Mist, based upon the novella by Stephan King. When the mist rolls into the small town of Bridgeville, people start dying and society breaks down. The mist cuts the town off from the rest of the world and we see just how fast the town’s residents will turn against each other.

The Mist is one of King’s darkest stories and focuses on the supernatural, Spike TV has certainly embraced that and fans are in for a psychologically frightening treat with their adaptation of the classic. This final trailer emphasizes the religious aspect of the story and highlights that monsters can be found anywhere, not just in the mist. When resources become scarce and the rules of society begin to break down, people can change in a terrifying way. And when the town discovers that one member of their group can enter the mist unharmed, the pitch forks come out to try pin someone as responsible, attempting to rationalize this supernatural force.

Beginning on Spike TV June 22nd, viewers can expect to be left on the edge of their seats each week. Hiding from monsters both human and inhuman, this series won’t be for the faint of heart. This all-star cast will face a terrifying aspect of human nature mixed with the supernatural before the mystery of the mist will be uncovered.
