Lucifer at San Diego Comic Con: Interviews & More

Everyone is now home from Comic Con. They are tired and have achy feet but they are loaded with information.

We got to sit down with Kevin Alejandro (Lt. Dan), Tom Ellis (Lucifer), Rachel Harris (Dr Linda), Aimee Garcia (Ella), Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson, and Tricia Helfer (Charlotte) at Comic Con to ask them questions about the upcoming season.  They are all so kind, intelligent, friendly, and easy to talk to.  We learned that the main theme of this next season is identity.

Lucifer will be figuring out who he is supposed to be and who he wants to be now that he has his wings back.  Lt. Dan is going to be standing up for himself more, he wants people to know that he deserves to be there and is a good cop. Dr. Linda is going through some serious emotional turmoil after she was tortured by Charlotte/Mom, she is questioning everything she thought she knew. Ella does not need to figure out what her identity is, she is the one person who knows who she is, what she wants, and isn’t afraid to show it. Charlotte is back in her body now that Mom is gone, and she has some major adjustments now that she is back to herself. The producers also had some interesting things to say.  DB Woodside (Amenadiel) was not at Comic Con, but we did learn that he will also be working on his identity now that he knows that he is the favorite son.  There is a new character played by Tom Welling, he will be shaking things up, relationships will change with him there.

There was some discussion about people of faith watching the show and their responses.  Joe Henderson had a great line, “The greatest trick the devil played was making a show called Lucifer.”

First of all I’m a mom, I have boy/girl twins, one is pre-med and the other (Emma) has graduated and helps me write reviews. My youngest son is studying Culinary Arts. I have very eclectic tastes in entertainment, from sci-fi to comedy and everything in between. I like to stay on top of what’s happening so that I can communicate with and understand my kids. I love to read and I can easily get lost in what I’m reading. I’ve always been creative and I am currently making jewelry and fused glass creations.
