Nakaba Suzuki’s fantasy action manga The Seven Deadly Sins is getting a second anime season. Along with a Revival of The Commandments TV anime (season 2) scheduled to start in January 2018’s winter season, a summer anime movie is in the works. The official twitter account for the show posted promo videos for both the TV anime and the movie. You can see them below.

Netflix, which has been streaming the series, got a lot of heat for announcing a season 2 in the fall which ended up not being a season 2 but a mini-series special. The 4 episode special, titled “Signs of Holy War” just aired in Feb on Netflix. Netflix has received a lot of heat for the way the announcement was made and the lack of a response to whether the 4 episode special was season 2 or not. Now we know a new season is coming but we also get an OVA film too. Check out the PV for that.

About The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins were once an active group of knights in the region of Britannia, who disbanded after they supposedly plotted to overthrow the Liones Kingdom. Their supposed defeat came at the hands of the Holy Knights, but rumors continued to persist that they were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights staged a coup d’état and captured the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. The third princess, Elizabeth, then starts out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.
