Plot threads are starting to weave together and revelations are coming to light as Dark Matter season 3 continues on full FTL. Each week the show seems to step up its game, with every successive episode topping the last in one way or another. This week is no exception and raises the bar yet again for a show that keeps proving you can get better and better as time goes by.
This sneak peek features Three and Android having a serious talk about the former’s attitude. Android senses fear in Three – something she’s never seen in him before. She’s right about her assessment, too. We’ve seen Three acting more dismissive about the current leads by Victor than he normally would, even from an android.
It’s a wonderful scene, giving us even closer looks into who Three and Android really are. They have more in common than might be obvious, too. Both of them are putting on facades to cover who they really are. Three puts on the dismissive, tough-guy face and Android often plays the passive drone that everyone can count on. What counts, though, is that both can break out of these shells when they’re needed and be who they really are.
Episode Synopsis:
One of the Android’s newly discovered memories leads the crew to a suspicious Dwarf Star facility on Nova 17.
