If you’ve seen the “next time” trailer for Dark Matter episode 312 you know Zairon will feature heavily this episode. Ryo has “invited” the Raza crew to “discuss” trading the Blink Drive for Two. He even makes it sound like they have a choice, but we all know they really don’t.
In this sneak peek, we see more of the dirty dealings Ryo is up to. Commander Nieman of Ferrous Corp hired AU Boone to kidnap Two, aka “the package” as a bargaining tool. This alliance between Ryo and Neiman is uneasy, as are most alliances between evil bastards. The odd thing is, Ryo sounds like the more reasonable of the two in the brief SpaceSkype chat they have.
Once the call is done, Teku walks in as instructed by his emperor. Ryo seems to greet him with friendly words, but it’s clear he’s tense. One big, red flag is that he draws his sword as he turns to invite his teacher and advosor in. The look on Teku’s face is very much like what I imagine I’d look like in the same situation.

Ryo invites his former crew to Zairon in a final attempt to secure the Blink Drive and his victory over Pyr.
