Dark Matter 313 Sneak Peek: “Nowhere To Go”

In what may be the final sneak peek of Dark Matter‘s third season, we get some tiny clues about Five. This quiet scene has Six dropping by her quarters to express his concerns about her recent behavior. Her de-facto dad is worried because Five seems bothered about something. Clearly, she’s upset about the vote over Ryo’s fate falling on the side of death for their former crew mate, but there’s more.

Here’s where the potential SPOILERS begin.

Five explains to Six that her worrisome attitude was brought about by knowledge of her sister; more specifically, her sister’s adoptive mother. The day Five had to escape the station aboard the Raza was also the day she was to meet her sister. When she turns to her computer screen to show Six some information, we see a small image of a woman. I presume this woman is Five’s sister’s mommy dearest. If you look really closely, the woman bears a striking resemblance to Alicia Reynaud. Reynaud, as you may recall, has an unusual interest in Five and not just because she has the key to the Blink Drive. That additional connection has never been made clear, but after this clip it may explain why Reynaud refers to our girl as “Pumpkin”.
