Orville Crew! We’re now only 3 days away from the special two part premiere! Who else is excited and ready for The Orville’s maiden voyage on their exploration trip into space? And tonight I have for you another interview from San Diego Comic Con, done by fellow Three If By Space writer Tom (@Thogar) at The Orville press round-table! We’re in for a fun, adventurous, and sometimes serious romp through space. The Orville has a special two night premiere starting this Sunday September 10th on Fox TV. Halston Sage is Lt. Alara Kitan, of the Xelayan race. She is a young, inexperienced security officer but I’m sure will be an asset on The Orville crew. Because she’s from a different planet, the higher gravity essentially gives her super strength. I can’t wait to see her kick some alien or human butt when the time arises. Penny Johnson Jerald will be another welcome face aboard The Orville, as Dr. Claire Finn. Dr. Finn is one of the most accomplished physicians in the Planetary Union. Seems like a good idea to have the best Doctor around as part of the crew, especially when the Captain and First Mate just happen to be exes. I don’t know about you, but I’m loving this crew with some bad ass female characters. The crew of The Orville looks like they’re gonna get into some interesting situations, blending body comedy and drama into what is sure to be a sci-fi hit.
