Lore TV Preview

Sometimes, reality is stranger than fiction. And sometimes the truth can be so terrifying that we, as humans, try to justify that fear any way possible. Welcome to the genius that is Lore, and why both the Lore Podcast and Lore TV show should be on your radar. In March of 2015 Aaron Mahnke released the first episode of his new podcast, Lore. It was an immediate success, not surprisingly as it deals with horror, fear, and historical narratives/folklore to rationalize those innate fears we experience as humans.  Mahnke does a brilliant job of discussing primal, instinctual fears and then seamlessly blending in a mix of folklore and actual historical accounts surrounding that particular fear. It isn’t surprising that before long it had a cult-like following of die hard fans and now a book and television show to go along with it. If you haven’t ever listened to the Lore Podcast, do yourself a favor and click on the official website link below. You won’t regret it.

With the success of the podcast, Lore has also been adapted for your viewing enjoyment. Streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, fans will see 6 Lore stories come to life in a beautiful and unique way. Quite appropriately these 6 episodes will be available beginning tomorrow, Friday the 13th to Prime users across the world. And as a special October treat, tonight after the live-stream of Thursday Night Football ends, Amazon will be showing a special viewing of the first episode of Lore TV!

Regardless of if you’ve been a fan of the podcast for awhile or only just found out about Lore now, this is a show you will not want to miss. And after you’ve devoured those 6 episodes on Amazon Prime, Aaron Mahnke also has a brand new book out for your reading pleasure. Plus there are always episodes of the podcast you can enjoy. Don’t miss out on the hottest horror anthology to ever hit Prime, and be sure to watch the first episode tonight and the rest tomorrow to round out your spooky Friday the 13th experience.
