This past weekend, fans got together in Vancouver, Canada to meet David Berry and Gaelic consultant Adhamh O’Broin! The event, Outlandish Vancouver, is held at the same time as the Surrey Writers Conference, which Diana Gabaldon frequently attends. Diana then does a public book signing. Outlandish Vancouver is organized by my close friend, Koko Pipkin, assisted by Samantha Kraupner and Gina Phipps-Hubbel (of the Sasnak City event in April). Attendees had the opportunity to go to a special dinner with David and Adhamh, hear each one of them speak individually and then together, get autographs and photos, enjoy small meet and greet parties, and then go to Diana’s signing later on in the weekend. New Outlander items at Target! A set of 2 pint glasses ($9.99) and a metal water bottle ($14.99) were seen at some Target stores this week! Not all stores have them – yet, we hope. The glasses can be found on the Target.com website – search Outlander and they’ll come up, and check the store listing to see if the store near you has them. The water bottle does not show up online.
