This week on The Legends of Tomorrow, delivered all sorts of fun! It was one of the best episodes yet. And can Nate be any cuter when he announces to the team that he has found another anachronism? And not just any anachronism, but a vampire! He was like a little boy open presents of Christmas morning! I loved how excited he was, it was something you just couldn’t help smiling about. Unfortunately, “Return of the Mack”, did not provide any vampires, just some really bad dudes.
Now, it’s been pretty obvious that I am a huge fan of Mick’s, but the fact that he is super into killing vampires was fantastic. I mean, the guy carries around a stake in the hopes that he will get a to slay some vampires! It was so freaking cool! It made me laugh and totally pulled me into the story. Then, the scene where they are about to take off and he smacks Ray’s hand away because he was on the last page of his Dracula book. Absolutely wonderful. It also makes Mick somewhat of a mystery because here we just know he likes to drink and get into fights. Yet, there is more to him than we think. He enjoys reading and he has always dreamed of staking a vampire. What kind of a guy is he? What other secrets are still to be discovered about Mick?
The Betrayal of Rip
Well, surprise, surprise, Rip betrays the team once again. I don’t understand why he continues to do this crap. I was so excited when he came back and told the Legends that he needed their help! It was all for nothing! He made things worse and Sara was done with him. I wonder what the Time Bureau will do with him? Is this the end of Rip? Only time will tell! For now, the team will no longer let Rip join their missions.
Damian Darhk is such an evil character and he just won’t die! I think Sara and Rip were pretty surprised when they opened the container and saw his body laying there. They should have just stabbed him right then and there! Yet, of all the villains, he probably one of my favorites. He is classy yet, pure evil. I love it! There seems to be a multitude of evil beings coming forward, which is very interesting.
There must be some bigger plan that is going to come to fruition, but I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. Bad guys are popping up left and right, something big is coming. Yet, what is their plan? Who is this Mallus character and when will we get to meet him? The Legends will really have to step up their game if they have any chance of defeating this new threat. Will they be able to do it? I’m not quite sure. I have learned, though, that on The Legends of Tomorrow, anything can happen!
Now, with a more prominent danger coming, Sara and the team have to be ready. We have seen that Sara is capable of being the leader, in fact she wanted to be the captain. It feels like she is really getting the hang of it and has gotten the team to follow her lead. Although it doesn’t always work out the way she would like it it too, I think there is a definite bond with the team. They take care of each other and no one is left behind. Despite, perhaps, being “misfits” the Legends are a family. This is something The Legends of Tomorrow continues to demonstrate in every episode. I love it.
Next week is an all new episode and I for one believe that it would be a shame to miss it! So, if you don’t want to be left out, make sure you tune in on Tuesday at 9/8c, on The CW.
