Avengers: Infinity War — Release Date Moved To April

Shocking news from Marvel today sets March off on the right foot – with a change in the release date for highly anticipated “Avengers: Infinity War.” Originally slated for May 4th, the film will now be premiering world-wide on April 27th – a week early. You can all thank Robert Downey Jr for this mid-spring surprise, as it was his role on twitter that made the announcement official!  Best twitter conversation ever? I think so! Scroll through the images below and see how it quickly escalated from 1 generic Infinity War tweet by Marvel Studios into an early release date within 2 responses from Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.

Though it isn’t unheard of for movies to get release date changes, this one is greatly appreciated by the fans needing that next Marvel Cinematic Universe kick. After all, who is going to complain about getting to see Infinity War a week early?!

Everyone will now be able to able globally experience the film together, as it will be released worldwide on the same day. – Marvel Studios
