Westworld is all new this Sunday night and boy are we in for a treat. Sorry, Teddy fans – but from the image and promo clip below it looks like Dolores’s altering of his personality has taken effect. No more Mr. Nice Guy – I expect he will be just as loyal to Dolores as he was before, but with zero empathy and spiked aggression. Hell, we might as well just start calling him Wyatt now too.
We also can expect to see a family reunion between the Man in Black and his daughter, a story-line that has certainly grabbed my interest. There clearly is some bad blood between this father, daughter duo – will chaos in the park help mend that or make the rift even greater?
We also aren’t quite done in Shogun world yet, which after a year of building up hype for it I am glad to see the writers exploring the world a bit instead of simply using it as a shiny side object with no real depth.
What I am looking forward to most is catching up with Bernard and Elise as they continue to investigate just what Robert Ford may have been up to in his secret lab. I love that Ford still has such a huge presence in the park and on the show, even if I am severely missing seeing Anthony Hopkins on my screen each week. There is so much more to be found in this particular part of the story, and who better to go looking than Bernard?
