San Diego Comic Con: Off-sites and Activations for 2018!

San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner, we are in the single digits my friends – with Preview Night happening in just 8 short days! At this point in time – Conan tickets have gone live, the full official panel schedule has been released, the online exclusives portal is closing soon, and the WB bag designs should be released any day now. One of the best things about San Diego Comic Con (especially if you don’t have badges for all 4 days) are the many “off-sites” that pop up throughout the Gaslamp in the downtown area. Every year the off-sites are extremely popular and this year I expect that to be no different. Here’s a quick glance at all the off-site activations that you will have a chance to experience during San Diego Comic Con next week.

Hulu’s Castle Rock:

Welcome to Castle Rock! Hulu invites fans to step into the town of Castle Rock with this multi-room immersive, unique experience. Visitors will explore the unlucky town’s bed and breakfast and vast nearby forest – discovering secrets around every turn. Doubling as a homage to Stephen King and his iconic characters, you’ll want to sleep with the lights on after discovering the evil that lurks in Castle Rock. Located within will be Hulu’s Campsite Lounge – a place to get away from the chaos of San Diego Comic Con. Located at Front Street and Island Ave this experience will be open Thursday July 19th through Sunday July 22nd.

Featuring installations from shows such as American Horror Story, Legion, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, and Mayans MC – as well as a “FX-3D” me station, where you will have the opportunity to create a 3d model of yourself. This is always a popular event, and visitors can register in advance beginning on Friday July 13th. FXhibition will be open the following times: Thursday July 19th 12pm to 6pm / Friday July 20th 10am to 6pm / Saturday July 21st 10am to 6pm / Sunday July 22nd 10am to 2pm.
