This Isn’t the Sabrina You Remember
Sabrina The Teenage Witch was a staple in my home. I adored the original TV show and I would have it on as much as possible. It was fun, lighthearted, and entertaining for a young kid like myself. I also was a fan of the comics that tied in with Archie and Josie and the Pussycats comics alike. Well now Sabrina is getting the Riverdale treatment on Netflix, here’s the newest trailer:

Killer
This show is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa who also wrote the comics of the same name in 2014. It took a much darker turn, following the more occult aspects of witches and sacrifices. I am extremely interested in the way that this show is going to go. It seems like it is going to be extremely dark and way less melodramatic than its counterpart Riverdale (which I absolutely love, don’t get me wrong, it’s just soap opera-esque in all the right ways).
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set to release October 26 and follows Sabrina Spellman, a half-witch half-human that has to decide between her two worlds on her 16th birthday. She lives with her two aunts, Zelda and Hilda who are teaching her the ways of witchcraft. Also it looks like we’re getting Salem back! Salem is the love-able sarcastic black cat, once human, that was turned by the Witch’s Council for trying to take over the world. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how different this series is going to be! Keep it here for a review when that show drops!
