We’re getting close to the next episode of Doctor Who and I’m sure you’re excited to see more. Honestly, I’m more than excited to bring you more Whovian goodness any time.

Today’s goodness is a photo gallery for episode 1106 Demons of the Punjab. This, once again, takes us into the life/lives of Yasmine’s family only this time the gang are in 1947. We’ve met her immediate family, now it’s time to meet her grandmother. A grandmother who, in 1947, would probably be close to her granddaughter’s age.

One thing I’ve noticed about this photo gallery is it looks very different than most episodes of Doctor Who. The shots are filled with beautiful vistas, lots of sunshine, and a rustic feel that this American can’t help but associate with the pioneers of the old west. It’ll be interesting to see if the tone of the story matches what we’re shown. This could be quite different and very interesting.

And as always, this article may contain SPOILERS, so view at your own risk.
From BBC America:

Episode Six: Demons of the Punjab

“What’s the point of having a mate with a time machine, if you can’t nip back and see your gran when she was younger?” India, 1947. The Doctor and her friends arrive in the Punjab, as the country is being torn apart. While Yaz attempts to discover her grandmother’s hidden history, the Doctor discovers demons haunting the land. Who are they and what do they want?

Guest starring Shane Zaza, Amita Suman and Hamza Jeetooa. Written by Vinay Patel. Directed by Jamie Childs.

Let’s take a gander at what the Doctor and Company are up to this Sunday, shall we?
