Review – Dr Stone
The plot line for the series had a very interest premise that just seems all too contrived. Over 3,000 years and both boys end up near each other after all that shifting in the world around them? Senku may be smart but the rate at which things are coming together resource wise is forced. So for a moment lets look at it another way. The humans were not suspended but alive the entire time and aware. If what Senku said is true about him counting during that entire time, that may well be true. If it is, you could understand him having as much knowledge and ease at science in this primitive world.
I think the bigger issue for me is the lack of answers to some of the more basic sub-plots. They are moving things along rather quickly and that leaves a lot open. I am excited to continue and see what we learn about the origin of this petrification. You can pickup Dr Stone at Amazon.com or your favorite comic shop.
