Horror fans rejoice!! New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing ScareDiego back to San Diego Comic Con this July! ScareDiego has been a fan favorite on Preview Night for the previous 2 years, and it is an absolutely fantastic way to get the convention weekend started off right! It: Chapter Two director, Andy Muschietti spilled the beans a few weeks back that ScareDiego would once again be taking over San Diego Comic Con on Wednesday July 17th.

ScareDiego typically brings special footage for an upcoming film, cast members, and filmmakers to the event. It: Chapter Two will be making an appearance, but New Line Cinema has not announced yet if another film will also be included in this year’s ScareDiego. For the first two years free tickets were handed out in the Lottery System over in the Sails Pavilion at the Convention Center. We do not have official confirmation yet on exactly how the tickets for this year’s ScareDiego will work – but last year you did need a Preview Night badge in order to participate in the ticket lottery.
ScareDiego is my personal top choice for Preview Night, so as more information is released you can be sure to find it here! Don’t forget that It: Chapter Two will hit theaters September 6th, and will definitely follow the successful path of it’s predecessor It. It made $700 million in the box offices back in 2017, overtaking The Exorcist as top-grossing horror film of all time.
