Official Trailer: Netflix’s “The Adam Project”

Netflix Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds seems to be able to do no wrong when it comes to picking and creating entertaining movies, whether starring in them or producing them. Or both. The Deadpool actor finds himself starring in and producing yet another film for Netflix, and this time he’s going for a bit more serious role. Let’s check out the synopsis below and the trailer and discuss.

After accidentally crash-landing in 2022, time-traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self on a mission to save the future.

Okay so hang on. Reynolds time travels into the past, to get himself, to go and save the world and his dad is played by Mark Ruffalo? Ruffalo is his dad and he is the son? It’s like the Marvel movie mash-up we have always wanted and will never get. The all-star cast includes Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Garner. The visuals appear top-notch and the story is simple enough to be interesting but also not go into with unrealistic expectations. I can say it’s Ryan Reynolds, so we can expect some laughs mixed in this as well. His signature humor isn’t hard to find in the trailer either. But with the lineup of the cast that we have, I am pretty excited to see what Netflix does with this. Netflix is quickly becoming the streaming service to beat when it comes to original direct-to-stream content.

The Adam Project drops on Netflix on March 11th
