After a panel today at San Diego Comic-Con the first trailer for the upcoming Paramount film in the Dungeons and Dragons franchise was revealed. So let’s check out the synopsis and then catch the trailer below.
A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.
Clearly, this latest attempt at a film in the franchise is going for a bit more of a comedic tone versus the more serious, campy, and in many cases terrible previous attempts within the world of Dungeons and Dragons. The film is set to hit theaters on March 3rd, 2023. Entertainment Weekly also sat down with the cast at Comic-Con today to talk about the upcoming film so you can see a short bit of that below along with the movie poster.
