Warner Brothers have begun their San Diego Comic-Con reveals on day 3 of the event. Shazam! Is back with the latest trailer for the Fury Of The Gods film. Check out the short synopsis and trailer below and then tell us in the comments what you think of the new trailer.
Shazam takes on the villainous Hespera and Kalypso, daughters of the Greek titan Atlas.
The film clearly wants to keep its light-hearted approach to the characters and story. It is what made the first film endearing in an otherwise problematic DC movie universe. Plus add Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren as villains and you have an interesting film lined up.
The film was shot locally here in Atlanta, Georgia which makes the trailer all the more exciting as we find all the local spots throughout the city in the various shots from the trailer. We can’t wait to see this in theaters later this year. The film is directed by David F. Sandberg (“Shazam!,” “Annabelle: Creation”) and produced by Peter Safran (“Aquaman,” “The Suicide Squad”). It is written by Henry Gayden (“Shazam!,” “There’s Someone Inside Your House”) and Chris Morgan (“Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” “The Fate of the Furious”), based on characters from DC; Shazam! was created by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck.
