Holiday Gift Guide 2022 – Our Top Picks for your wish list

The 2022 holiday shopping season is here, and now is the time to prepare for the deals earlier than ever. Each year retailers move up their holiday promotions in order to snag shoppers and move inventory that has not been moving throughout the year. This year, Amazon is kicking off their early prime day deal (second of the year) Oct 11-12th. Yet Amazon isn’t the only retailer starting early, big box stores like Target and Walmart have already started as well.

This list below includes my top picks for the holiday gift guide for early shoppers. Everything from tech gifts, gaming, hot kids toys, and more. So lets dive in.

All products featured on this gift guide are independently selected by our editors, unless otherwise noted. However, when you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission

Ring Video Doorbell

If you have been waiting to get a video doorbell, now is the time to end that wait. The price is dropped 30% to just $70 for the latest version of this doorbell. Not only is it great for monitoring who is at your door, but also when packages are delivered and monitoring when you are out of town.

Amazon Fire 50-Inch 4K TV

Gone are the days when a TV was outrageously expensive or out of reach for the latest technology. This 4k TV is just $350 and it’s 50 inch! Did we also mention it’s a smart TV and has built-in Amazon Fire functionality?

Lego Brawls (a review copy of this game was provided to us for inclusion into our holiday gift guide, however opinions on the game are our own).

Bringing the fun of smash/brawler style gaming into the Lego franchise, Lego Brawls lets you customize your brawler and battle it out with others via online play, local free for brawl and cross-play. The control customization is limited at best, but for a younger crowd who loves lego characters and wants to have some fun, this game is a fun addition to the family collection of multiplayer games. This game is available on the Switch, Playstation and XBox.

Star Wars LOLA Animatronic Droid

Hasbro never fails to come up with some of the hottest toys of the holiday season, and 2022 is no different. Star Wars is again bringing in all the new toys with series like Obi-Wan and Andor. For Obi-Wan, Hasbro has launched the cute new ‘R2-D2’ of the series, LOLA. This animatronic droid has over 45 light, sound and movement combos. It is rated for Ages 4+, but there is no age limit on enjoying Star Wars.

National Geographic STEM Kits

Nothing is more fun than being able to enjoy some fun science experiments at home with your kids who enjoy science, technology, and engineering. National Geographic has a wide range of awesome STEM kits for at-home that let you take the fun from school and museum events to at-home.
