Vicki’s favorite things are either music-related, hockey-related or geek-related. She spends a lot of time at concerts, enjoying a variety of music with an emphasis on alternative rock, and at Dallas Stars’ games. She also reads a variety of books (lots of urban fantasy and scifi – need recs? Just ask), and watches TV shows such as The Librarians, Sleepy Hollow and, of course, Grimm! She previously ran a Harry Potter fanfiction website and has helped to run numerous Harry Potter conferences as well as present at them.
A series of connected murders lead everyone to think a copycat is on the loose – Garcelle Beauvais and Nico Evers-Swindell guest star – A string of homicides have the press asking Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) if a Jack the Ripper copycat has arrived in Portland. While dealing with the investigation, Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank […]
This was a fantastic episode, and just what Grimm should be as we head towards the end of the season. Rosalee’s visit to jail to see Juliette went about how I’d have expected it. Juliette is past the point of wanting to go back to being human – that or she’s accepted what she’s been […]
This episode was full of twists and turns – and still not a lot of answers. Frustrating! Finding out about Clay’s backstory in Louisiana was interesting, to say the least. Malcolm turned him into a werewolf – and killed his mother. His father later took his life without his wife or son. Yet Clay was […]
What a start to Season Two! Bitten picks up three days after the Season One finale – and jumps right back into the madness! Nate was clearly a traitor to the Pack, but who was torturing him for information? How did he end up dying when he reached the perimeter? It was no surprise that […]
The hunt is on as a Wesen right of passage becomes deadly – Jeff Fahey and Nico Evers-Swindell guest star – Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are brought in to investigate a homicide they learn is connected to an age-old Wesen rite of passage. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) makes a surprising new ally. […]
Bitten finally returned to Syfy on Friday night with the first two episodes of Season Two back-to-back (reviews coming soon)! We had the chance to talk to stars Laura Vandervoort and Greyston Holt about their characters, further differences between the show and the Otherworld book series by Kelley Armstrong, and what we can expect from […]
This episode, while solid, lacked the punch of recent episodes. Rosalee and Monroe, who always want to help, have the extra knowledge of having helped Elizabeth with the original spell that gave Nick his Grimm powers back while turning Juliette into a Hexenbiest – and they actually do find something in the spell book. But […]
A Native American myth comes to life — A homicide leads Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) onto the dark and mysterious path of a local Native American power quest. Meanwhile, Juliette’s (Bitsie Tulloch) erratic behavior lands her on the wrong side of the law. At the spice shop, Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe […]
This episode is a tough one to review, because while it’s good in the sense of how well done it was, I didn’t like it. Let me explain further. So Juliette and Sean slept together. I get it in the sense that she’s pretty much rebelling against her entire former life while claiming she wants […]
Nick and Hank are on the trail of a chilling string of murders – Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to investigate a rare Wesen that leaves its victims frozen solid. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) starts to feel that she is losing her humanity as she seeks to get revenge on Adalind […]
