Only reason that’s not included here is because I don’t know that con or the management personally, and I’m not comfortable mentioning something I can’t vouch for.

Comment on Why This Isn’t Your Star Wars and It’s a Good Thing by Alison Sky Richards https://www.threeifbyspace.net/2018/01/isnt-star-wars-good-thing/#comment-11131 Sun, 14 Jan 2018 03:37:44 +0000 https://www.threeifbyspace.net/?p=71686#comment-11131 Actually, thank you for pointing that out to me! Sometimes. when you’re writing a long piece, after awhile it’s hard to edit your own work because everything blurs together. I thought I had cleaned up the piece, but you’re right, I was a bit lazy and should have given it another pass. I will go and give it another edit now that its been up a few days and see if I can clean it up more.

Heck, my life goal is to one day write one a novel within their world like my mentors before me.”

Yikes. Those two lines alone hurt. I read them but I had to shake out the virtual pinball bouncing around the words, trying to make any sense of the lines. A few more paragraphs in and I had to stop and take a break. I’ll try to tackle the rest of the article later.

Are there editors at Three If By Space who approve this stuff before being published? If not, please … they’re needed. If so, those editors need training.

Props to the author for trying but, as a “self-published author,” there’s a lot of training and practice necessary before that title should be used.

Comment on Knightfall: Landry’s Agony, Chains & Another Clue – Review by Eddie Mikus https://www.threeifbyspace.net/2018/01/knightfall-landrys-agony-chains-grail-hunt-clue-review/#comment-11123 Thu, 11 Jan 2018 19:00:00 +0000 https://www.threeifbyspace.net/?p=71704#comment-11123 I actually didn’t think that De Nogaret was going to die, mainly because he has been depicted as FAR too clever to allow something like that to happen successfully. That said, something doesn’t make sense about the hanging scene: How did Malraux get up onto the scaffold and have a noose slipped around his neck without anyone seeing that he had a sharp glove that could potentially be used to be used to cut the noose?

Comment on Outlander: Eye of the Storm, Season Finale Review by gv https://www.threeifbyspace.net/2017/12/outlander-eye-storm-season-finale-review/#comment-11118 Thu, 21 Dec 2017 16:42:00 +0000 https://www.threeifbyspace.net/?p=71217#comment-11118 RDM has proven yet again that he wants Jamie to be a sidekick to Claire’s “badass female superhero” rather than a hero himself. The show has made Jamie a supporting player, rather than the leading man. I’m very sad and disappointed about it (and I’m not even a book reader).
As an actor, Sam is the epitome of “leading man” and “hero” (the show was incredibly lucky in casting him) but for some reason they are determined to diminish the character of Jamie.

I could nearly feel the emotions pouring through him. I’ve never been much of a fan girl type before, but I have to say I am a becoming a pretty fierce fan of David Berry.
