Medusa was one of the three monstrous Gorgons, generally described as winged human females with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Those who gazed into her eyes would turn to stone. These 3 pins show her slow turn into stone, starting with a full color version of the pin, and completing with a full-stone version. The stone version has full GITD.
