Its award season and with the Oscar nominations in today and the Golden Globes starting soon its time for us to announce the nominations for the TiBS First Annual Scifi Awards. These awards honor the actors, actresses and writers who created the best shows in our genre. What makes these nominations even better is they are nominated by the fans.

Unlike many modern award shows where a group of ‘members only’ nominate their picks for awards, TiBS Science Fiction Awards are all picked out by fans of the actors, actresses and the shows. Whats even cooler? We had actual awards made and each winner will have an award mailed to their agents to accept the awards!

Later this weekend we will also be emailing our random winners who voted. Voters had a chance to win some cool prizes that include: Falling Skies Pins, Dark Horse Comics, Warehouse 13 Trading Card Pack, Falling Skies Trading Card packs, TeeBuster Geek Shirts and exclusive TiBS Dragon Con shirts.

Are you ready for the results? The Young Actor and Actress categories were decided by a mere 10 votes, while the best actor in a TV series was won by over 3,000. In all over 23,000 votes were cast.
