Amanda was not your typical mayor and she didn’t take crap from anyone. The day Nolan strolled into town, she knew right away he was the man for the job. She was also a big sister to Kenya, who ran the Need Want. At the end of season 2, Amanda loses the race for mayor to Datak. She has a heartfelt talk with her sister, not realizing the trouble that Kenya was in. We saw Kenya get poisoned by Stahma in the woods but as far as we know, Amanda has not found out yet.
With the Earth Republic having taken control of the city, Amanda will have to fight with those she never thought she would be working with.
