Revolution writer Paul Grellong (@earnestracket) conducted this week’s PowerHalfHour on Twitter today. Here are the questions he chose to answer, and his responses, which tended toward the inscrutable, but hinted at some fascinating, complicated plot lines:
1. How soon until Miles and Monroe meet again? Love their interactions.
So do the writers and we will be bringing them back together soon!
2. Does Neville have any pure intentions or is he just always power hungry?
Good question. What’s more pure than the thirst for power?
3. Is Monroe (David Lyons) going to find his son this season?
The chances of that happening are fair to good. You know what Monroe is like when he gets an idea in his head.
4. Is Adam (the younger guard holding Monroe) going to be an important character? I like him!
Great actor in a fun role – you’ll be seeing more of him next week!
5. What’s up with the rats, guys? Creepy…
I know, right?!
6. Can Monroe and Charlie fall in love? I want this to happen.
Boy, that would be a pretty awkward Thanksgiving…
7. What was written in the letter Titus sent to the Secretary? It didn’t look like English.
It’s Arabic. That letter was actually sent by Titus’ no. 2, Garrett. The language is coded and the conspiracy is big.
8. When can we expect to see the appearance of The President?
After our government goes back to work, but before my whole beard turns gray.
9. Will Charlie spend most of this season kind of fractured from the group?
All of these characters have a pretty intense gravitational pull, so there may be collisions in the near future.
10. Was the town Willoughby named after the Twilight Zone episode?
Ding, Ding, Ding! Tell him what he’s won!
11. What is up with Aaron seeing Ben again???
Short answer: nanotech. Long answer: How much time you got?
12. What is Titus Andover up to?
Aside from being an out-and-out bad dude? Titus is roped into the larger conspiracy in ways that will surprise you.
13. Where are the rest of the animals? We have only seen rats and fireflies this season.
Most of them are touring with the revived, live-action Country Bear Jamboree.
14. Curious as to if it was/gets revealed how Monroe became President of the republic and Miles as no. 2.
