Syfy Celebrates 20th Annual New Years Eve Marathon Of ‘The Twilight Zone’

(Press Release) NEW YORK โ€“ December 1, 2014 โ€“ย Syfyย will celebrate the holiday season with the Original Movieย Christmas Icetastrophe, a Christmas Day disaster film marathon, and the 20thย annual New Yearโ€™s Eve celebration of Rod Serlingโ€™s legendary seriesย The Twilight Zone, which will take viewers into a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity.

Among the iconic episodes airing during this yearโ€™s marathon will beย Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,ย To Serve Man,ย Time Enough at Lastย andย Eye of the Beholder.

Syfyย began transporting viewers into that middle ground between science and superstition onย December 31,ย 1995.

Inย Christmas Icetastrophe, premieringย Saturday, December 20 at 9PMย (ET/PT), an asteroid strikes a small town preparing for Christmas, triggering an explosive wave of ice crystals that threatens to freeze all life on Earth. The movie stars Victor Webster (Continuum), Jennifer Spence (Stargate Universe)ย and Richard Harmon (Bates Motel).

On Tuesday, December 23,ย Syfyย will present a season one marathon ofย Wizard Warsย from 6PM to 12AM.ย Wizard Warsย returnsย Thursday, January 29 at 10PM.

The holiday programming festival heats up on Christmas Day with a full day of cold weather-themed movies.

Syfyย will close out 2014 withย The Twilight Zoneย marathon, which runs Wednesday, December 31 from 8AM until 5AM, concluding Thursday, January 1 from 6AM to 6AM.
