Elizabeth Mitchell Joining The Expanse Cast – Preview
The world of “The Expanse” may be on hiatus, but there’s some fun news that dropped at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
A panel discussion with Naren Shankar, Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Cas Anvar, Frankie Adams, and Mark Fergus offered some thoughts on what went on during season 2, and a look at what we might see in season 3.

Elizabeth Mitchell is joining the cast of The Expanse in a recurring role.
The panel also revealed that Elizabeth Mitchell will join the cast for a recurring role. Mitchell’s previous roles included TV stints such as “Dead of Summer,” “Crossing Lines,” “Once Upon A Time,” and “Revolution,” a show that I enjoyed though it struggled to find traction.
Mitchell will play a character that brings a new, spiritual perspective to the series. The news was released during the weekend panel. The new season of The Expanse will drop in 2018.
Here’s a link to a preview of the coming season that was released during San Diego Comic-Con.
