The Expanse: A Thanks & A Hint At SDCC 2018 – Review

The struggle was real, but so were the results and the crew of the Rocinante, as well as The Expanse executives, offered their thanks and a few little hints at what the show may feature in 2019 during a video presentation at San Diego Comic Con 2018.

Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham, Dominique Tipper, Steven Strait, Naren Shankar (executive producer/showrunner), Mark Fergus, and Tyler Franck (book writer/executive producer) offered their thanks to the fans for the passionate defense of the show and stated categorically that that support was the reason that season 4 will come off in 2019 on Amazon.

And what can fans expect? Well, with The Ring gate open, Belters, Earthers and Martians are going to go through it, so the cast and creators hinted at new adventures in new worlds. Cas Anvar hopes the Roci crew will get into more trouble, while Dominique Tipper dreams of blowing another ship up. No matter what happens, the chance to tell the rest of the story has the cast and crew excited. Check out their video hello to SDCC right here.

Spent the last 30 years telling the stories of people, places and things I thought other people would find interesting. Rediscovered my nerd/geek karma late in life and get to write about that as well. Oh, also spent three decades as a high school/college coach (track, cross country and hoops). A passionate comic con enthusiast, sci-fi lover and enjoy alien invasion shows on the big screen and small.
