The Boys Comic-Con@Home Plus Season 3! Amazon Prime Video | SDCC

The Boys Are Back

Today Comic-Con@Home had the cast of The Boys sit down and talk about the characters and what is in store for them during season 2. Hosted by Aisha Tyler, the panel started out with Eric Kripke discussing his approach to the show. He said that season 2 is going to tackle a lot of very topical and intense topics. Topics like white supremacy and white nationalism will appear. We also got to see a clip from the new episodes where the Boys are on a boat and The Deep blocks the way with a whale. We find out that they are actually in that boat actually doing those stunts. Karl Urban even drove the dang thing! It’s really cool to hear of a show that actually has their actors do these crazy stunts.

The panelists included Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and the newest edition to the show Aya Cash. Each of them talked about their characters and where we find them at the beginning of season 2. The dynamics are definitely going to change this year and I am really looking forward to how much each character is going to go through. I am especially curious to see how Butcher handles himself after the bomb that was dropped at the end of season 1 (GO WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN’T!)

Check out the panel here!

During the panel Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg slyly showed up and announced that The Boys has been renewed for season 3! This is extremely exciting news especially considering season 2 has not even dropped yet. I am really looking forward to the upcoming season of The Boys. I cannot wait to see how everything unfolds.
