Fire Force Season 3 Anime Announced at Anime Expo 2024
5 years after the premiere of season 2, Crunchyroll announced the series’ return at Anime Expo this weekend. Season 3 of Fire Force will return to Crunchyroll in April 2025, and Jan 2026 as a split-cour third season. It was also revealed the third season would be its last. As part of the announcement, a teaser was dropped along with a key visual for Special Fire Force Company 8 including Arthur and Shinra, and a not-so-subtle easter egg in the background.
First, let’s check out the teaser.
The series is an adaptation of the manga written by Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul Eater) and its ties to the Soul Eater universe are more than just coincidental. The menacing moon in the background should ring some bells for Soul Eater fans. Season 3 will join the first two seasons on Crunchyroll where they can be streamed.
The new key visual can be found below, sporting Shinra looking up at a burning Tokyo and the crescent moon smiling in the background.
