One of the fun things about San Diego Comic Con is learning about new-to-me brands and companies, and Atsuko was one of those! We spoke with Jonothan Smith, the Atsuko spokesperson, to learn more about the brand and the company itself, as well as check out what they had to offer at SDCC this year! Atsuko focuses on fashion-forward clothing that has an edge to it like no other anime clothing brand out there. They pair really well with series like Beserk, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Cyberpunk Edgerunners, which were the ones they were highlighting at SDCC. They have also done collaborations with Pokemon, Cowboy Bebop, and other fan-favorite series!

Atsuko has everything from t-shirts to hoodies and backpacks. That means that everyone has the chance to find something they love. Check out the store here to see everything they have to offer!

I’d say personally, my favorite piece they showed off at SDCC was the Lucy Blue Hoodie. It’s partly because Cyberpunk Edgerunners is a great series, but also because of the style. It’s super comfortable, and it just looks really cool. There are other things coming their way for the future and Jonathon mentioned that Chainsaw Man is on the horizon. One of the pie-in-the-sky ideas is Sailor Moon, which I think would be incredible and I will definitely be keeping my eye out for that.

Atsuko regularly does the Convention gauntlet and there was mention of their attendance at upcoming events. Keep an eye out on their social media accounts for where they will be next!
