Aug 10th is National Lazy Day: 3 Lazy Anime Characters We Know You’ll Love
Anime is no stranger to common character troupes. From listless main characters to the quiet type, there are plenty of options for you to check out. Today is National Lazy Day. In honor of that, we visit our 5 favorite lazy characters who end up hiding a lot more under that lazy demeanor than they put on.
Shikamaru Nara (Naruto)
Shikamaru is naturally lazy and is inclined to do as little work as possible. As a student Shikamaru can get away with this, spending his days sleeping or playing games of shลgi. Even when told by many that he could be a great Hokage, he stated that he didn’t want to deal with such responsibilities. Despite that, he is intelligent and a brilliant strategic, and a loyal friend.
Shota Aizawa (My Hero Academia)
Shota is Class 1-A’s homeroom teacher and perhaps the one teacher who is the hardest on his students, especially Izuku and Bakugo. When he isn’t teaching we find him wrapped up in a yellow sleeping bag and getting some shut-eye. He likes to remain low key but one thing remains true: He cares the most of any teacher about his students.
Kiyotaka Ayanokouji (Classroom of the Elite)
Ayanokouji is a cold and calculating individual. Most look at him as mean and uncaring. His grades were average, but not because he was average, but because he didn’t want to draw attention to himself. Trying to get away from his father’s meddling, he quickly starts to take an interest in his class and progress his own desires to get back at him.
