Funko is an American company that manufactures licensed and limited pop culture collectibles, best known for its licensed vinyl figurines and bobbleheads. In addition, the company produces licensed plush, action figures, apparel, accessories and games.
Funko was founded in 1998 by Mike Becker, who started the company as a mail-order business selling bobbleheads of his favorite characters. The company quickly grew in popularity, and in 2005, it was acquired by ToyVault. Funko continued to grow under ToyVault’s ownership, and in 2011, it was acquired by Funko Holdings LLC.
Today, Funko is one of the leading manufacturers of pop culture collectibles. The company’s products are sold in over 100 countries, and it has a wide range of licenses, including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and many more. Funko’s products are popular with collectors of all ages, and they make great gifts for fans of all things pop culture.
