The Passage Stars Mark Paul Gosselaar and Sanniya Sidney Chat at SDCC

With only one episode filmed so far (and actually, filmed and reshot), stars of the as-yet-unscheduled FOX Network show The Passage sat down with reporters at San Diego ComicCon last month! Mark Paul Gosselaar, who will star as FBI agent Brad Wolgast, who is out to protect young Amy (Sanniya Sidney), humanity’s potential savior. The show is adapted from the trilogy by Justin Cronin (The Passage, The Twelve, and The City of Mirrors).

The pair have an obviously great relationship – which is important, because they’ll share a lot of screen time! The Passage is a post-apocalyptic story of a virus accidentally unleashed by the US government that wipes out the population – or turns people into infected sub-humans. The virus was initially thought to be a super vaccine to keep people safe from any disease, but the truth is much more frightening. Amy is a young girl who is seemingly immune to the deadly effects of the virus, but it has other consequences for her.

Here is part 1 and part 2 of the conversation among reporters, including our own Michelle Harvey, about the show, and their relationship both on screen and off. Look for a second post with video featuring show stars Henry Ian Cusick and Jamie McShane, and director Jason Ensler and showrunner Liz Heldens!

Part 2:
