Killjoys: Season 5 Sneak Peek, Air Date Arrive – Preview

At long last we have not only a date, but some trailer action for the fifth and final season of Killjoys. It turns out, the wait won’t be that long as season 5 of Killjoys returns to SYFY on July 19. Let the rejoicing begin, my friends.

When last we saw Dutch, D’Avin, Johnny and the gang, they’d failed to keep The Lady from extracting herself from the green. And that left us with a final scene of a completely different and younger reality, one that we can only surmise is a product of The Lady viewing things in her own, twisted way. So, The Lady is out, Aneela is trapped in her place in the the green, and judging by the trailer that just dropped, there’s 27 days to figure this all out and reverse it.

Well, I don’t know if that’s really true, but Zeph (Kelly McCormack) and Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) seem to be having a very intense discussion about something important when Zeph tells Dutch they have 27 days. So, it’s probably not related, but let’s say it is and note there’s probably a time limit before an altered and warped reality becomes…well, reality.

The news that Killjoys is finally ready to air is exciting stuff for Killjoys fans…a fandom that’s been waiting for this for a while now. Fortunately, come July 19, the final adventure of our hearty band of Killjoys (and their associates) will begin its ride to the finish.

If you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer for you to enjoy.
