Crunchyroll My Hero Academia

Crunchyroll Expo is in full swing and day one hit the ground running with a behind-the-scenes panel with studio BONES. At that panel, a lineup of new and returning shows was announced for the Fall and Winter seasons. One of those shows was My Hero Academia. We already knew it was coming in October but originally being on Funimation, the recent merger changed things up. Now the new season coming this fall will premiere on the new combined Crunchyroll platform.

Here is the latest trailer for season 6 with English subtitles.

The president of the anime studio BONES, Masahiko Minami, announced the release on Crunchyroll and provided the above new trailer. Here is a quick refresher on where we stand going into season 6.

With Bakugo and Todoroki, Deku is doing his work-study at the office of the number one hero, Endeavor. Working hard in the best possible environment, he is growing as a hero and using Blackwhip, a new Quirk that was hiding in One For All. Meanwhile, Tomura Shigaraki from the League of Villains clashes against the Metahuman Liberation Army led by Re-Destro. While he’s being driven into a corner fighting Re-Destro, he recovers forgotten memories of his terrible childhood and is awakened. He seizes the Metahuman Liberation Army, expands its influence, and now desires a new power for himself to destroy everything.
