New ‘The Hobbit’ trailer focuses on Bilbo

The long anticipated prequel to the hit Lord of the Rings movies is nearing and Peter Jackson has been teasing us each week with more looks at his new trilogy. You will remember recently that Jackson announced they would split ‘The Hobbit’ into 3 films in order to fit in all the details of the story. Many fans were thrilled to hear this, but some felt it was just done to milk viewers out of more money.

In this new clip just released, Bilbo Baggins on an adventure with 13 dwarves. Oh and theres Dragons! The film brings back many of our favorite characters and actors including Ian McKellan as Grandalf the Grey, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, and Hugo Weaving as Elrond.

The first film is set to be released this December, the 14th. The next 2 films are expected the same time in 2013 and 2014. Checkout the new look at The Hobbit below.
